cushing & rockland, maine, 2024
I spent a week in the delightful towns of Cushing and Rockland, Maine drawing and painting at different locations. I loved painting the broken down old shacks and falling down barns on the side of local roads. The atmosphere of the misty, overcast, rainy days on the docks or by the ocean were heavy with dark colors, but inspiring to try to capture. I loved the shacks edging the woods in the dappled sunlight.
